I’m Gonna Explode

This is the story of Roman and Maru, two troubled teenagers who attempt an impossible rebellion against the adult world. United in their desire to fight the immobility that they feel surrounding them, the two embark on a rebellion against everything and everyone when they decide to runaway to a place where they don’t have to answer to anyone. This leads them to an accidental new intimacy in which they discover their sexuality and an intense life as a couple that both unites themand confuses them. Despite the risk of getting caught by the police and their parents, the young fugitives jeopardize the security of their hiding place and seek to expand the limits of their newfound paradise by returning to the real world, where wounds are real and actions have consequences.

Gerardo Naranjo

He was born in Mexico. While in college he founded a classic film club, which led him to start writing film criticism. He obtained a Master’s degree in directing at the American Film Institute in 2002. He co-wrote and starred in "TheGoodTimesKid" (Azazel Jacobs, 2005).
