Fully accessible screening: Mourning Rock
For the third year in a row, the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival presents fully accessible film screenings. With the support of Alpha Bank, the Festival’s accessibility sponsor, Filippos Koutsafits’s mesmerizing feature documentary Mourning Rock returns to the cinema theater, in a two-way stream that connects the 25th edition with the "2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture". In his documentary, Koutsaftis films Elefsina as a topos that contains myths, oracles, mysteries, and prophecies. The film will be screened online from March 4 to 12, with audio description and Greek Subtitles for the deaf and hard-of hearing.
