DOCUMENTARY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: A RELATION TO EXPLORE - WORKSHOP BY THE GREEK DOCUMENTARY ASSOCIATION

Responding to the recent developments in relation to the application of artificial intelligence in the realm of the moving image, the Greek Documentary Association, in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, organizes an open discussion titled “Documentary and Artificial Intelligence: A relation to explore.” The members of the panel are: Manolis Andriotakis, journalist and writer; Georgia Koutrika, director of research at the Institute of Information Systems of the “Athina” Research Center; Nicole Alexandropoulos, filmmaker; and Victoria Vellopoulou, director. Also joining the discussion at the end for more topical commentary will be Apostolos Karakasis (director, President of the Film School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Argyris Theos (cinematographer, representative of Isocratis - Royalties Collective Management Organization). On behalf of GDA, director Angelos Kovotsos will coordinate the discussion. The discussion will take place in Greek.
