AWARD CEREMONY: CEDEFOP VIDEO AWARD 2023 / EUROPEAN YEAR OF SKILLS: SHARE YOUR SKILLS

The #CedefopVideoAward, is a competition organized by Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training. This edition, as part of the European Year of Skills, emphasized showcasing learners’ skills. Teams of VET learners were asked to submit a video demonstrating skills they had learned during their vocational training. Each entry consisted of a 1-minute clip accompanied by a short narrative. The prize for the winning team is a trip and tickets to the 26th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival. The award presentation will take place on Friday 8 March at 11.00 at the Frida Liappa screening room, Warehouse D, Port of Thessaloniki, with free entry. It will be followed by a panel discussion on “Young people’s skilling and career prospects in a fast-evolving education and labor market environment.” The exhibition with the best videos, curated by the Thessaloniki Film Festival and Cedefop, will be presented at the Thessaloniki Cinema Museum (4-17/3, 10:00-20:00, free admission).
