Where does censorship stop in today’s social media environment? What is considered “dangerous content” in the age of political correctness and lobbying? Prompted by the screening of the documentary The Cleaners in the 20th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, a film that made an impression in this year’s Sundance Film Festival, and the presence of Hans Block, one of the co-directors of the documentary, in Thessaloniki, Warehouse C will host a timely discussion about censorship and human rights in the age of digital society. Hans Block will discuss with Yannis Ioannidis, Vice President of the Hellenic League for Human Rights; Michail Bletsas, Director of Computing at the MIT Media Lab; and Aris Dimokidis, editor in chief of LIFO.gr and a prolific writer.
