Climbing Out

In September 2005, Pablo Scaroni, a bull -breeder, rock-climbing champion and Brescia Calcio supporter, fell victim of police brutality while attending a football match. As a result, he remained in a state of coma for two months and had to struggle his way out of the wheelchair. A full-hearted documentary that records the courageous fight taken up by a man who seeks justice and strives to rebuild his own identity. Throughout the course of this 11-year ordeal, a powerful juxtaposition emerges: the peaceful serenity of farm life hand in hand with the violent – yet unconditionally solidary – world of football ultras.
