The international beauty contest “Mr. Gay World” promises two gay Syrian refugees in Istanbul an escape from their trapped lives and an answer to invisibility. A well hidden view of the refugee crisis, a story about staying alive and turning the sadness and traces of physical and verbal violence into a resistance tool and a celebration of life.
