A modern married couple and their eight-year-old son. The man, in his mid-thirties, works as a tax consultant for an import - export company. His thirty-year-old wife looks after the home and their child. A risky promotion for the husband raises the family’s social and financial expectations. Against the backdrop of a harsh everyday reality, the protagonists will be laid bare, revealing their different wants and needs that will make communication between the couple more and more problematic.The hero’s inability to deal with the increased demands of his social milieu and his wife puts an unprecedented strain on their relationship, driving it to the breaking point. The unforeseen and extreme solution will be given by the heroine, leaving the audience to reassess the film’s characters, for, as we know, things aren’t always what they seem.

Αlexander Avranas

He was born in Larissa in 1977. From 1998 to 2001 he studied Sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 2003 he continued his studies in Sculpture with Anthony Cragg at the Universitat der Kunste in Berlin where he obtained a Master’s degree. From 2001 to 2008 he participated in many international and Greek exhibitions, while at the same time winning numerous awards as well as three grants from the State Scholarship Foundation. He began his film career in 2003.
