Ari Bafalouka

He was born in Athens, Greece in 1972. In 1977 he started swimming and was Greek champion for 8 consecutive years. In 1995, he graduated from the Physical Education Department of Sports Training of the National University of Athens and from the Stavrakos Film School. He received a scholarship for postgraduate studies from the Greek Film Centre and studied at the Northern Media School in the UK, receiving an MA in Film and TV Direction. He has worked as assistant director to well-known directors in feature films. Since 1997, he has been working as a director. He has worked as a Film Direction instructor for the educational program “Let’s go Cinema”. He is currently teaching at the Stavrakos FilmSchool and at drama schools.
