The Return

A young volunteer nurse is working in Iraqi Kurdistan, at the camp of Yezidi refugees who escaped from ISIS. There she discovers a tent with a woman leading a secluded life and rejecting any food or contacts. The director’s camera discretely follows the nurse as she struggles to prevent one more tragedy and captures the details of the gestures of the people, whose history is carved on their faces.
