Three charismatic young chefs just graduated from Rene Redzepi’s Nordic Food Lab – an experimental course run by the chef-owner of the prestigious restaurant NOMA in Copenhagen. Their career goal is not the compilation of gourmet plates for the elites, but something far more challenging: incorporating insects into Western cuisine. The three of them travel around the world and taste the unknown. Encouraged by people who consider certain arthropodes the most delicious snacks they dig up the soil, and they even visit factories for the mass production of crickets and grubs. A whimsical documentary about the future of food.
