“Memes” Tribute: Open Discussion
Wednesday, May 27, 20.00
The word “memes” stems from the word “imitation.” Memes are popular, memes are everywhere. This is one of the most familiar and widely used words, yet we barely know what it means. As the Festival presents an original, groundbreaking, and daring spotlight to memes, the Festival invites Matthias Fritsch, the director of The Story of the Technoviking, president of the Hellenic League for Human Rights Yiannis Ioannidis and The Real Ancient Memes into a discussion that investigates this phenomenon and its impact – from our daily laughter break to issues of human rights and their violation.
