In 2010, incognito aboard the Costa Concordia cruise ship, legendary and restless French New Wave director Jean-Luc Godard shot a fragmented requiem for Europe. In 2012, the luxury cruise ship sank in the Mediterranean. Six years later, this innovative documentary investigates the case, as director Paul Grivas brings together three different films: a portrait of Jean-Luc Godard as a groundbreaking artist, a hilarious cruise comedy and an essay on Western world’s fall.
