Garden Lovers

Eedenistä pohjoiseen

24th TDF: Greek Premiere

The film peeks behind the pretty facades of middle-class life, as the protagonists tell their stories about relationships, love, and disappointment. The scenes of action are their gardens, which offer an unorthodox point of view to the hopes and anxieties people have in our society. After all, the garden contains the many ways in which life can flourish: it gives strength and unity, but it also becomes a place of farewells. A declaration of love to beauty and the healing power of nature, with beautiful and magical pictures flowing into relationships, conflicts, and joys.
