Stefan Ivancic

Born in Yugoslavia in 1985, from 1991 to 2009 he lived in Barcelona, where he got his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has a Master’s degree in film directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade. He has written film reviews for several publications, including the Spanish e-zine Lumiere. His short film Springtime Suns (2013) had its international premiere at the FID Marseille and was selected at many festivals, including Rotterdam, San Sebastian and Torino. His documentary 1973 (2014) had its premiere at Visions du Reel (Nyon, Switzerland). Moonless Summer is his graduation film and was selected at the Cinefondation section of the Cannes IFF.
