Piazza Vittorio

Piazza Vittorio

20th TDF: Greek premiere

Piazza Vittorio is the largest Roman square and home to people from different communities – and also to great directors such as Paolo Sorrentino and Matteo Garrone. Master Abel Ferrara presents this world with his independent and poetic vision, putting himself physically in play in the movie. A surreal and neo-realistic day comes out with interviews with illegal immigrants, clochards, artists, business owners and politicians, who narrate not just the story of a square, but the story of a country in transition.
