The life of a customs officer with an incredibly acute sense of smell takes an unexpected turn when she meets a dark stranger, who carries a terrible revelation about her own existence in his luggage. A film that challenges any border between film genres, cinema and other arts, reality and absurdity, or the intimate and the strange, based on a novel of the same title by John Ajvide Lindqvist (author of Let the Right One In).
