The Guilty

Den Skyldige

59th TIFF: Greek Premiere

A police officer who has been denoted and found himself only handling admin work receives an anonymous phone call from a woman who has been kidnapped. Confined to his office chair, he is forced to use others as his eyes and ears, as the magnitude of the crime is slowly uncovered... A fixating thriller that breathes exciting new life into the Scandinavian tradition of this film genre, with its narrative and visual resourcefulness, as well as its chilling penetration of a character’s depths.
