Lillian

Lillian

Lillian is a Russian immigrant who lives in New York and whose visa has just expired. Her only option is to return home, to her previous life, which is completely unknown to us. Lillian starts walking aimlessly, with no fixed destination, roaming around desolate cities and vast motorways. She resembles an alien cast away on Earth, as she is almost literally invisible to an indifferent and barricaded society. A lethargic road movie in the heart of the American inland, where people nourish their sorrow and feed on it.
