Carmela, a 12-year-old girl, is obliged to meet her father at a family meeting center on the day of her birthday, due to the gender-violence sentence her mother has against him. Α film born as a response to the violence that women experience on an everyday basis, aiming to give a voice to the voiceless.

Júlia de Paz Solvas

Júlia de Paz Solvas began her film studies at the age of 18 at the prestigious ESCAC University in Barcelona. She specialized in film directing, where she found her main motivation, directing actresses and actors. At the age of 24, she makes her first feature film AMA, which received numerous awards and nominations. In 2021, Variety named Júlia de Paz as one of the ten Spanish talents to look out for 2020.
