A song awakens memories of youth to an elderly pensioner suffering from dementia. Longing to reclaim his independence, he leaves the house secretly from his wife and against medical advice. A sudden event subverts their fragile routine, while it rekindles the spark of their long-standing relationship. Can you ever forget love?

Mary Kolonia

Mary Kolonia was born in Athens. She studied Law at the Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds an MSc in Marketing from Stirling, Scotland. She graduated from New York Film Αcademy (Directing) and from the Sundance Institute (Directing/Screenwriting). The Armchair on the Pavement is her first short after her thesis projects.
