A middle-aged man who gets unemployed in his fifties decides to leave his family for a while and wonder in Eastern Europe in search for a job and a big fish. As the man runs after his dreams, he is drawn into a labyrinth of strange events. A film about the struggle against unfulfilled desires, the agony of being “left out”, but primarily about the necessity to see things from an outer perspective.
