The Anti-Fascist Struggle in the Middle-East

Ο Αντιφασιστικός αγώνας στη Μέση Ανατολή

21st TDF: World Premiere

1941. Just like today, war and hunger triggered waves of refugees; only the path they followed was reversed. From occupied Greece, thousands are forced to cross rough seas and many are lost in their efforts to reach the Turkish coast. The ones that made it settle in camps in Cyprus, Egypt, and Syria. The men don their uniforms and join the Greek Armed Forces in the Middle East. The British intervention marks the beginning of the Greek Civil War.
