Family Members

Lucas and Gilda are reluctantly journeying together to the family’s beach house in order to pay their last respects to their mother, who has recently committed suicide. In their case though, no ash scattering is involved; just the disposal of a prosthetic hand into the sea… The next morning, they find themselves marooned in this lethargic town in Argentina’s Atlantic coast, due to a bus strike. During this imposed and fraught holiday, as if trapped in a timeless limbo, the two siblings are forced to confront their loss and bid farewell to their innocence.
