Luis is a young lumberjack who works far from home, trying not to worry over his pregnant wife who’s about to give birth. As his daily work routine is riddled with tensions, distance and loneliness take a toll on Luis, who is gradually immersed in despair. A sinister glance at a lost soul’s struggle to stand on his feet and overcome life’s obstacles.

Alexandre Haldemann
Alexandre Haldermann is a Swiss filmmaker, born in Geneva. In 2016, he took part in the Olympic Games in Rio in swimming with the Swiss team, then reoriented himself in an artistic career. In 2017, he started a Bachelor's degree in Cinema, at HEAD, Geneva. Parallel to his studies, he is involved as a videomaker at the SFITS (Swiss Foundation for Innovation and Training in Surgery). Several of these compositions can be found in the short film Thrush Flapping Its Wings Against The Wind.
