Adieu soleil

Luna, 11 years old, lives with her big brother, Julien, 17, and her two adoptive fathers. It’s the end of summer and the heat is stifling. They are impatiently awaiting the solar eclipse that everyone has been talking about. The sun disappears behind the moon…it does not reappear.

Hakim Atoui

Hakim Atoui is a self-taught French-Algerian author, director, and screenwriter. In 2020, he self-produced, with Baptiste Etchegaray, the feature documentary La Première Marche (shortlisted in the Best First Film annual selection of the French Cinema Critics’ Union) following the organization of the first pride march which took place in Parisian suburbs. Since then, he has worked as a screenwriter for TV series and developed his own projects (both documentaries and fiction films) as a director. In 2023, he shot his first produced short fiction film Goodbye Sun. In 2024, he shot his second fiction short, We Are Family, and prepared his third fiction short, Men Showers, produced by Wombat Films.
