The incredible story of the director Simon Fitzmaurice, who was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease at the age of 34, shortly after the premiere of his short fi lm at the Sundance Film Festival and while his wife was expecting their third child. Five years later, confi ned to his wheelchair, he managed to complete his fi rst feature through the use of a software that reads eye movement. Drawing on Simon’s best-selling autobiography, the documentary narrates in Colin Farrell’s voice a transfi xing story about the power of will and creativity, that leads to a totally new defi nition of the “director’s gaze.”
