Open Letter

Ανοιχτή επιστολή

Like a Truffaut hero, Jim is wandering aimlessly through the streets of Athens in 1960. Memories of the German Occupation, bar hopping, sex with women of the swinging 60s and his conservative family outline the portraits of a man and a society that drift between a vain modernization and a petty-bourgeois conformism, a few years before the advent of the military coup. One of the most significant debuts of Greek cinema, which was rejected at Thessaloniki Film Festival in 1969.
