Fashion Reimagined: Extended Q&A

In her latest film, Becky Hutner delivers the portrait of the fashion designer Amy Powney, a rising star in the London fashion scene, who used the cash prize that accompanied the coveted Vogue award for the Best Young Designer of the Year to create a sustainable collection from field to finished garment, and to transform her entire business. The filmmaker will meet the audiences of Thessaloniki to discuss the prospect of this practice for the transformation of the model of thought and work, and the possibility of a much bigger societal change. The screening is supported by the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Greece (Thessaloniki Office) and will be followed by an extended Q&A, with the participation of Michalis Goudis, Director of the Heinrich Böll Foundation Thessaloniki Office, as well as a representative of Pokari Project.
