#CedefopPhotoAward is a photography competition organised by Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, based in Thessaloniki, and endorsed by the European Commission. For the 2020 edition, Cedefop invited teams of vocational education and training learners in the European Union, Norway and Iceland, to share their experiences through an original photostory. Each entry consisted of a sequence of photographs illustrating the progression of a story, accompanied by a short narrative. This year a video category was introduced where the contestants are invited to highlight the photostory’s main message in a video of up to 60 seconds. The three winning photostories, along with those of the seven runners-up and the best video, will be exhibited at the Cinema Museum of Thessaloniki in the context of the 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival, from 22 June to 31 July 2021.
