Greek Rock Revolution

In September 2018, Spanish director Miguel Cano interviewed the most significant rock bands in Greece and filmed their live concerts and rehearsals in various cities. The result was a 96-minute documentary about the rock scene in Greece, featuring bands that have gained not only support in Greece, but also global recognition. Exploring the recent flourishing of Greek rock music within its social context, the filmmaker sees a similarity with cultural momentums in Mississippi back when the blues was born or when the grunge flourished in Seattle.
