The theatrical performance Not a Single Breath to Spare becomes the narrator of Asvestochori Sanatorium’s history, in northern Greece, where thousands of tuberculosis patients were hospitalized and thousands died without anyone ever looking for them. The documentary records the life in the Sanatorium from 1920 to 1960 along with the great events that took place in Greece, including testimonies of survivors given in the old hospital’s abandoned building.
