Itsi Bitsi

1962. A young generation rebels against the establishment. Peace activist Eik Skaloe meets Iben and falls head over heels in love, but Iben refuses to commit herself to one man only. Desperately, Eik tries to win her over by transforming from poet to writer, nomad, junkie and eventually lead singer in the destined-to-become-legendary band Steppeulvene.

Ole Christian Madsen

A film director, he was born in Denmark in 1966. He graduated from the Danish National Film School in 1993 with the award-winning graduation film Happy Jim. In 2001, he wrote and directed the award-winning dogma film Kira’s Reason – A Love Story and in 2005 he turned the critically acclaimed bestseller Nordkraft (Angels in Fast Motion) into an award-winning hit with critics and audiences. This was followed by the WWII drama Flame & Citron, about two Danish resistance fighters, which sold to 50 countries and was the biggest box-office hit in Denmark in 2008. In 2011, he directed his first comedy, Superclasico, of which he was also the main screenwriter. He has also directed several highly acclaimed TV series.
