Ela, Panda & Madame

A young woman who works for a big corporation is in a hurry to drop off her grandmother at the seaside and get back in the city. She has to be in the office first thing the next morning or else she may lose her job. But the road is long, the elderly lady isn’t feeling well and the friend she was supposed to spend the holiday with is missing. Besides, for old times’ sake, granny longs to see the dawn, maybe her last one, with her granddaughter.

Andrei Stefan Rautu

He was born in 1986 in Romania. He is an independent filmmaker and currently a student at the “I.L. Caragiale” National University of Theater and Film Bucharest. Over the last few years, he has worked as a TV production assistant, and a reporter and writer for the Romanian press. In December 2011 he attended a three-month full-time intensive workshop on filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, in Universal City, Los Angeles.
