The World According to Ion B.

In 2008, 62-year-old Ion B. was yet another homeless man in Bucharest. As a young man, he had dreamed of becoming a film director, and in the 70s he began creating collages that he referred to as “my films.” The future seemed bleak, until a young gallery owner happened to hear about Ion and his 1,000 collages. Only one year later, Ion would be living in his own home, recognized as one of Romania’s most important contemporary artists. This is the incredible story of a genuine artist living on the edge of society, creating art in its purest form.
