Children of Chance

In the small local school of former mining town in Belgium, some 11-year old students with an immigrant background are coming to the end of their primary school education. Brigitte, their dynamic teacher with an advanced pedagogical approach, gave them the necessary supplies to enter this constantly changing world. The film follows them for the course of a year and captures their spontaneity, their joy of living, the end of childhood.
