THE ICEBERG is a documentary about sexism and gender violence in Greek society. Focusing on perpetrators and the sickening misogynism that leads to women’s oppression and murder, Iceberg seeks answers about the part religion, family, and even school have played in shaping this phenomenon.

Manos Papadakis

Manos Papadakis was born in 1965 in Thessaloniki and has studied Electrician, Electronic engineer and Film Direction.
He has collaborated with the largest production companies for commercials, professional documentaries, weekly series for state television, etc., and has been awarded for his works.
Since 1999 he has been teaching cinema in public, private schools and laboratories. In 2008 she created the production company SPiRTO PRODUCTIONS whose works were distinguished in various festivals.
In his free time he parachutes, dances Argentine tango and makes useful and decorative objects from wood and metal.
