Blodsbond

Mirush leaves Kosovo for Norway, hoping to find his father who abandoned the family when Mirush was very young. Now the father runs a restaurant in Oslo, but he is also in deep debt to the Albanian Mafia. The father has started a new life with his Norwegian girlfriend, while his Albanian family is only a vague memory. That is, until he starts to work in his father’s restaurant without letting him know that he is his son. Gradually, they get to know each other, but what Mirush discovers about his father is not something he is prepared to take. He is forced to make choices that have important consequences, for both of them.

Marius Holst

He has directed three feature and several short films. He became internationally known with his feature film Cross My Heart and Hope to Die, which was in Competition in Berlin IFF 1995 and won the Blue Angel Award. In 1998, he was one of four partners that started the production company 4 ½. His second feature film, Dragonflies, was a critical success and was selected for competition in Berlin’s Panorama 2002. He is also one of Norway’s foremost directors of commercials and has won several internationals awards.
