Shady El-Hamus

Shady El-Hamus (Amsterdam, 1988) graduated in 2012 at the Netherlands Film & Television Academy as director and screenwriter with two films: Magnesium (screenwriter) and About Sons (screenwriter/director). Magnesium was selected for the Sundance Film Festival (US) and several other leading film festivals. In 2015, Shady El-Hamus completed a Masters course in Directing at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield (UK). His latest short Nightshade has been selected for Oscar® submission in the Live Action Short Film category.
