Shut Up, Little Man! An Audio Misadventure

Shut Up, Little Man! An Audio Misadventure

  #LGBTQI+   #memory

Back in the late 80s, solitary flatmates Raymond and Pete, an openly gay man and a raging homophobe, proclaimed their mutual disdain loudly enough to wake the dead, constantly fueled by their compulsive boozing. When the brawling duo’s next-door neighbors, Midwest newcomers to San Francisco Eddie and Mitchell, recorded this feast of yelling and insulting, little did they know that their tapes would become a 90s viral pop-culture sensation, even spawning comic works and stage-plays! A fascinating throwback to the long-forgotten pre-social media/YouTube era that explores the shady aspects of popularity, while pondering on the loss of privacy, and society’s inherent voyeurism.
