Dawn (Andante)

Andras Szirtes is one of the BBS’s most prolific creators of work focused predominantly on what we could refer to today as “classical experimental”. His earlier films like "Birds and Dawn", using optical printing techniques, solarization, reticulation and macrophotography, were formally closer to New American Cinema’s aesthetic and some of the first BBS experiments to be distributed internationally. "Dawn" is a metaphysical search for traces of life and daylight in a Hungarian ghost factory.
