63rd TIFF: Greek Premiere

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived happily with her parents and her younger sister. But the little girl lived in Romania and her parents really wanted a house for them, so they went to work in Spain. The little girl stayed with her sister in the care of her grandmother and so the years passed, until one day the little sister told her that their parents were going to return. So the little girl began to hope.

Miruna Minculescu

Following her BSc in Political Science, Miruna Minculescu began her start-up photography agency, working as a fashion and commercial photographer. In 2016, she enrolled at National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale,” studying Film Directing. As a student, she directed several shorts and short docs, out of which Mechanisms and Other Systems won Best Experimental Film at Cinemaiubit 2018.
