Saturday Church

Saturday Church

58th TIFF: Greek Premiere

The most faithful attendees of the Episcopal Saturday Church in the Bronx are some transgender teenagers that live on the margins of society and find support within this small community, which follow to the letter the lectures of Christianity on unconditional acceptance. One of them is young Ulysses, a 14-year-old guardian of his family who escapes his harsh reality through the wings of imagination. A colorful, adventurous Odyssey about finding one’s true identity.
