Balancing between artistic research and documentation and experimenting with the methods of visual anthropology –only to surpass them– the Colombian filmmaker shoots her own “ethnofictions.” Hence, she highlights the importance of the uncanny, side gaze that comes from different peripheries – and not only from the Latin Αmerican inland or the Global South. Through her work, that is presented in Thessaloniki in its entirety, she invites us not to observe, but to feel different subjectivities.
