Georgios Karaiskakis: At the Border of Myth

A documentary on the life and action of the Commander-in-Chief of the Greek Revolutionary Army of 1821. From his foggy birth to his death, this documentary examines the personality of this important liberator through history, poetry, folklore, the descriptions of his comrades and biographers, who were on his side during the armed struggle, letters, documents about his action as a revolutionary, an irregular soldier or militia and chief commander of the National Liberation Army.
