Piercing

Piercing

59th TIFF: Greek Premiere

A young businessman who recently became a father decides to release his urge to kill his newborn baby in the cradle by murdering a call girl. But when he invites her in the luxurious suite he has rented for the occasion, he comes to realize that he has fallen into the trap of an S&M game, where the victim and the perpetrator constantly switch roles. Α piercing, clinical, poignant look to the vicious circle of sex and death drives that inhabit every love affair; at the same time, a stylish, kinky black comedy about the infinite loneliness of people in futuristic metropoles, which is only exorcized through pain.
