End of the Century

Fin de siglo

60th TIFF: Greek Premiere

Two men, an Argentinian from New York and a Spaniard from Berlin meet by chance, while in Barcelona, and spend the night together. What seems like a one-night encounter between two strangers turns into a cosmic voyage, a decades-spanning love story, with a dreamlike allegorical touch. Inventive and enigmatic, the film plays out in a nonlinear narrative, in which time and space follow their own rules, consistently surprising the viewer.
