Ivy

The crew of a cargo ship finds itself confined in the open sea, on the border of the Egyptian shoreline. The owner company has just declared bankruptcy and the five men on board need to wait on the ship for as long as it takes, so that it won’t be confiscated by the authorities. The workers claim their unpaid money. Naturally, these men run out of food and out of stamina, as they surpass their limits. The second feature film by Turkish director Tolga Karacelik is a slow-burning psychological thriller that remains enigmatic from the opening till the end credits.
