Joyce A. Nashawati

She grew up between Beirut, Accra, Kuwait and Athens. She studied Film in the UK and Paris where she got a scholarship for a thesis. She directed three mystery short films: The Umbrella (2008), The Bite (2010), and On Leave (2013). The Bite received the Best short film award at the Gerardmer IFF. Blind Sun is her first feature.
