Springtime in Yorkshire: An isolated young farmer does everything he can to make a success of a place that his father dedicated his entire life to. He numbs his daily frustrations with binge drinking and casual sex with other men, until the arrival of a Romanian migrant seasonal worker reveals something he has never felt before: to love and to be loved. The harsh, typical landscape of Northern Britain reflects the anguish of these men who defuse every desire into hard physical work, until the generosity of Nature give ground to emotion that (cannot but) remain unspoken.
